Biography
Yogacharya Dhakaram (योगाचार्य ढाकाराम) is a senior yoga teacher, healer and founder of YogaPeace Sansthan. For over three decades he has taught therapeutic yoga and teacher-training courses across India and internationally, blending classical wisdom with practical, accessible techniques.
Renowned for his calming presence and deep attention to students’ individual needs, he treats yoga as a path from health to happiness, emphasizing breath, alignment and daily practices that deliver measurable benefits. Under his guidance thousands of students have completed comprehensive training programs and shorter workshops; YogaPeace also promotes an intensive 1800-hour curriculum used by advanced trainees.
Dhakaram’s approach combines pranayama, mindful asana, subtle adjustments and evidence-oriented yoga therapy tools to address chronic pain, stress and lifestyle disorders, and he is often invited to design therapeutic modules for clinical and corporate settings. He regularly leads teacher trainings, public retreats and specialty sessions in cities such as Jaipur, Vrindavan and internationally, maintaining a community-centred, service-oriented outlook.
